Q4 PRESS Release Notes - September 2008 Release

It’s been a couple of months since I posted about the busy summer here at Q4. After a couple months of hard work, I’m please to announce our latest release of Q4 PRESS. Enhancements include:
- Formatting enhancements for financial tables imported from MS Word documents:
- Table borders are preserved
- Cell alignment achieved by using tab-stops, margins, padding, text-indenting and all combinations of those techniques is preserved
- Caching Enhancements:
- All versions available in the Quick Reports section are cached for faster loading
- Feedback items in Task List are cached for faster loading
- General caching improvements
- User option to not cache any information if using a public computer
- Performance improvements:
- optimized the rending of imported Word documents
- optimized the performance when authors/reviewers/approvers load and save large financial documents
We’re already underway this week with our next round of improvements and additions to Q4 PRESS. Stay tuned for a future post!
